KWEF wanted to correlate local temperature and precipitation data with our WQM data. Since there is no local source of weather data, KWEF setup our own weather station on Big Clam Lake in Kearney. We have installed automated rainfall and temperature data loggers, plus a standard commercial weather station package that provides wind direction and speed, atmospheric pressure, humidity, temperature and rainfall data that must be logged manually. We also logged snow fall and snowpack.
